DRIVER ARRESTED AT RIDE PROGRAM


(BROCKTON, ON) - On July 4, 2025, at approximately 1:20 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) along Durham Street East, Municipality of Brockton.

A vehicle entered the area where police then spoke with the driver. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported for further testing.

Robert TEMPLETON, 24-years-old, resident of Cambridge, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80 plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)

The accused is set to appear on August 13, 2025, at the Walkerton Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
