DRIVER ARRESTED DURING TRAFFIC STOP IN BRANT COUNTY
(BRANT, ON) - A driver is facing several charges after police stopped and investigated a vehicle.
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, at approximately 11 46 pm, an officer with the Brant County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 West, at Oak Park Road.
As a result of investigation, police charged 27-year-old, Kakou WOGNIN of Toronto with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
- Failure to Comply with a Release Order - five counts
- Possession of Identity Documents
The accused was held for Bail Court and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford.
