(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) - East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged driver with multiple offences.  

On September 4, 2025, at approximately 2:30 pm, police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 108 in the City of Elliot Lake. The purple car had an expired temporary plate and the driver was spoken to.    

Patrick BARRY, 31-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with:

• Operate unsafe vehicle
• Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
• Drive motor vehicle - no licence
• Drive motor vehicle, no permit

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on October 15, 2025.
