DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION


(BROOKE-ALVINSTON, ON) - One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop.

On June 13, 2025, at approximately 10:10 pm, while conducting general patrol, a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Nauvoo Road at Morrell Street, Brooke-Alvinston.

As a result of the investigation, Jaymee BURNETT, 27-year-old of Sarnia, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on August 11, 2025.
