(GERALDTON, ON) - On June 24th, 2025, at approximately 8:56 pm while on patrol of Highway 11 in the township of Greenstone an officer with the Greenstone OPP Detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling at an excessive speed of 153km/hr. in a posted 90km/hr., a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result of the investigation, the driver’s license has been suspended for 30-days, and the vehicle impounded for 14-days.

A 22-year-old, from Meadow Brook, NB has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

·Adult Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform stunt - Excessive speed.

·Adult Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

-Adult Drive motor vehicle, no permit

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 12th, 2025.
