DRIVER CHARGED WITH STUNT DRIVING IN BRANT COUNTY
(BRANT, ON) - On December 8 at 12:31 am, officers were monitoring traffic on Highway 24 near Ellis Avenue. A southbound vehicle was observed traveling at an extremely high rate of speed. Radar confirmed the vehicle’s speed at 154 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old male driver from Brantford has been charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
- Speeding - 154 km/h in a 110 km/h Zone
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
