DRIVER CHARGED WITH STUNT DRIVING IN BRANT COUNTY
(BRANT, ON) - On Friday, December 19, 2025, at approximately 3:30 pm, a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Oakland Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed.
The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 104 km/h in a posted 50 km/h posted speed zone, on snow covered roads.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old male driver from Hagersville has been charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
- Speeding - 1 - 49 km/h over posted speed limit
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation. A court date has been set for the near future.
