(TOWN OF ORANGEVILLE, ON) - The Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a shooting at a local business.

On July 18, 2025 members of the Dufferin County OPP responded to call for service at a local business on Riddell Road in the Town of Orangeville. Police received a call from the business owner just after 10:00 am reporting multiple gunshot holes to his storefront.

Upon police arrival the area was cautioned taped while police investigated. A larger than normal police presence would have been observed while the Dufferin County OPP, Dufferin County Crime Unit, alongside the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) worked to preserve and collect any evidence left behind at the scene.
