(DUFFERIN COUNTY) - Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) worked diligently to ensure the safety of residents and visitors throughout Dufferin County over the Labour Day weekend.

Between August 29 -September 1, 2025, members of the Dufferin OPP laid 198 total traffic related charges, which consisted of the following:

• Speeding charges - 105
• Stunt/Racing - 4
• Distracted Driving- 1
• Impaired driving charges - 4
• Seatbelt charges - 22
• Other - 62
