(Orillia, ON) - The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a robbery that occurred at a local business in the City of Orillia.

On October 14, 2025, at approximately 4:30 am, a male suspect entered a business and threatened an employee while demanding cash and cigarettes. A quantity of cash was handed over, and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. No weapon was observed, and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as:

Male, Caucasian

Outfit: All black clothing and wearing a mask

Police are asking members of the public with dash cam footage from the area of Atherley Road and Forest Avenue between 4:15 am and 5:15 am to review their recordings for any information that may assist in identifying the suspect.
