(KERNS TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

At approximately 12:15 pm, Temiskaming OPP officers, along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Kerns Fire Department, responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Milberta Road and McCool Road.

One driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

Members of the OPP’s Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) and OPP’s Technical Collision Investigator (TCI) attended to assist with the investigation, which remains ongoing at this time.
