FENTANYL AND METHAMPHETAMINE SEIZED IN NAPANEE

Four People Arrested

(NAPANEE, ON) - Four people are facing drug trafficking charges after the seizure of illegal drugs in Napanee.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) began an investigation earlier this summer into drug trafficking in the area.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, members of the Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and officers from the Lennox and Addington County Detachment, executed a search warrant at residence on Water Street. Four people were arrested without incident.

Officers seized over 160 grams of suspected fentanyl and over 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.

Erin ALKENBRACK, age 45, Bradey BUCK, age 31, both of Napanee, Mario CATENA, age 42 of no fixed address, and Kortney HERRINGTON, age 30 of Napanee have each been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - two counts
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

All four were held for bail hearings before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on Friday, August 1, 2025.
