(MOOSONEE, ON) - On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 10:30 am, the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with paramedics from the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority, responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Moose Drive in Moosonee.

Upon arrival, police were informed that a firearm had been pointed at a victim, followed by a physical assault. Officers observed two individuals leaving the area through nearby backyards. Both were arrested, and one was identified as the accused.

A search incident to arrest led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and Canadian currency.

As a result of the investigation, Jordan SPENCE, 25 years-of-age from Brampton, was charged with:

  • Pointing a firearm
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - crystal methamphetamine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - crack cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Moosonee on October 19, 2025.
