FOUR IMPAIRED DRIVERS REMOVED FROM ROADWAYS BY ORILLIA OPP


Orillia, ON - Between October 25 and November 2, 2025, members of the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted proactive enforcement resulting in the removal of four impaired drivers from local roadways.

These incidents led to the laying of more than 34 charges under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Highway Traffic Act, including impaired operation, driving with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 mL of blood, and other related offences.

Two of the accused were held for bail hearings, while two were released and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
