(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - An individual is facing a fraud charge following an investigation in Haldimand County.

The Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched a fraud investigation on July 6, 2025, after receiving details from a Caledonia resident.

The investigation determined that the accused was involved in fraudulent activity and was subsequently arrested.

A 45-year-old from Mississauga has been charged with one count of Forgery.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.
