GOOD SAMARITAN ALERTS POLICE TO SUSPECTED IMPAIRED DRIVER

Vehicle Located and Driver Charged

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an impaired driving investigation in Waterford.

At approximately 12:19 am on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver on Duncombe Road in Waterford.

Officers later located the vehicle at an address on Culver Road in Waterford. Following a sobriety assessment, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

19-year-old Dylan HASKETT from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), - Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero, - Young driver - B.A.C. above zero

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
