GREY BRUCE OPP RESPOND TO WORKPLACE INCIDENT - INDIVIDUAL FELL FROM HEIGHT

(Southgate, ON) Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a workplace incident at a construction site in Southgate Township on November 26, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm

Police attended along with Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Dundalk Fire Department. A 20-year-old of Linwood, Ontario fell approximately eight metres from a roof while working on the site.

The individual sustained serious life-altering injuries and was initially transported to the local hospital and then airlifted to a trauma centre for further treatment.
