(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) - An Etobicoke resident is charged following multiple reports of an erratic driver in Grey Highlands on July 14, 2025.

On July 14, 2025, at approximately 2:00 pm, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to multiple reports from concerned motorists regarding a vehicle driving erratically northbound along Highway 10 in Grey Highlands.

Witnesses described the vehicle weaving dangerously through traffic and causing damage to several vehicles. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle on Highway 6-10, just north of Chatsworth. The driver was taken into custody.

Jaspreet BAINS, 31-years-old, of Etobicoke, has been charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:

• Dangerous Operation, CC
• Flight from Peace Officer, CC
• Operation While Impaired, CC
• Assault Peace Officer, CC (Two Counts)
• Drive Motor Vehicle - Fail to Display Two Plates, HTA
• Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt, HTA
• Fail to Stop for Police, HTA

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on August 27, 2025.
