(HAWKESBURY, ON) - Members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a suspicious fire at a residential apartment building.

On November 29, 2025, at 11:55 pm, Hawkesbury OPP, Hawkesbury Fire Department, and United Counties of Prescott and Russell Paramedic Services responded to reports of a structure fire on Portelance Avenue.

The fire has been extinguished but is considered suspicious and being investigated as an arson.
