(HAWKESBURY, ON) - On January 30, 2025, at approximately 4:04 am, members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a business fire on Main Street East in Hawkesbury. While on scene, officers were alerted to a second business fire, also located on Main Street East.

Both buildings were unoccupied at the time of the incidents. The first structure was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival, while the second fire was contained and extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system. The Hawkesbury Fire Department responded to both locations. No injuries were reported.
