(ESPANOLA, ON)  - The Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a fatal collision on Highway 6 near Espanola.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at approximately 1:30 pm, the Manitoulin OPP and Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services responded to a three-vehicle collision involving two passenger vehicles and a motorcycle. As a result of the collision, one driver has been pronounced deceased, and a second driver was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
