HIGHWAY 17 CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COLLISION

(LAURENTIAN HILLS TWP., ON.) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a collision on highway #17 between Petawawa and Chalk River that has the highway shut down in both directions.

Shortly after 5:00 am on August 27, 2025, OPP were called to a collision on highway #17 that currently has the highway shut down while the investigation continues. If possible please avoid the area.
