(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - A driver is facing charges following an investigation in Caledonia.

On Nov 1, 2025, at approximately 12:35 pm, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Argyle Street, Caledonia.

The investigation determined that an individual arrived at that location and was possibly driving impaired but had left the scene.

Police located the vehicle soon after and a traffic stop was conducted.

Taryn GULOTTA, 43-years-old of Haldimand County has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts)

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on November 7, 2025.
