(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Brampton resident criminally, stemming from a traffic stop.

On August 9, 2025, at approximately 10:15 pm, members of the Wellington County Traffic Management Unit were performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, which resulted in a traffic stop being conducted on Wellington Road 34, within Puslinch Township.

As a result of the investigation, Navjot SINGH, a 23-year-old from Brampton is charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on August 22, 2025.
