IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP


(SOUTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a London resident with impaired driving following a traffic stop on October 31, 2025, in the Town of Exeter, Municipality of South Huron. 

Just after 11:30 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on Main Street North in Exeter. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over twice the legal limit.

Shawn BULLOCK, 44 years-of-age from London has been charged with:

  • Impaired Operation - Over 80

The accused was additionally charged with offences found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on December 08, 2025.
