IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

(HOWICK, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Morris-Turnberry Township resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 08, 2025, in Howick Township. 

Just after 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 08, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on Salem Road in Howick Twp. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Christopher EADIE, 54 years-of-age from Morris-Turnberry Twp has been charged with:

  • Impaired Operation - Over 80

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on December 08, 2025.
