IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED and CHARGED IN HALDIMAND COUNTY
(HALDIMAND, ON) - On November 18, 2025, Haldimand County OPP were called to attend a motor vehicle collision involving one vehicle and the driver ejected from the vehicle, on Mississauga Road between New Credit Road and Tuscarora Road, in the County of Haldimand.
Upon arrival on the scene Haldimand OPP verified that the male driver was ejected from the vehicle and had been placed into an ambulance for medical attention. During the investigation of the scene the Haldimand OPP had determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. The driver was transported to Hamilton General Hospital for nonlife threatening or life altering injuries. The driver was placed under arrest for Impaired Operation, while at the hospital. Haldimand OPP put the Accused in contact with legal council.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga.
