IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED FOLLOWING COLLISION IN BRANT COUNTY
(BRANT, ON) - On August 15, 2025, at approximately 10:21 pm, members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-motor vehicle collision on King Street east of Maple Avenue in Burford, Ontario.
Upon police arrival an approved roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a “fail”.
Following a police investigation Shazia MONTGOMERY a 34-year-old female of Ancaster, was taken into custody and charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on October 03, 2025.
