(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Rockwood resident with two criminal charges stemming from a two-motor vehicle collision.

On September 5, 2025, at approximately 8:20 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a two-motor vehicle collision on Main Street in Rockwood.

Troy CLEGHORN, a 25-year-old from Rockwood, is charged with the following:

• Operation while Impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
• Fail to Remain

None of the involved parties sustained any injuries.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on September 16, 2025 to answer to the charges.
