(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a collision in Guelph-Eramosa.
On October 8, 2025, at approximately 7:30 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a report of a motorist driving erratically before causing a collision on Highway 7 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, Shane BURTON, a 40-year-old from Fergus, was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on October 21, 2025.
There were no reported injuries resulting from this collision.
