(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - On July 5, 2025, at approximately 10:00 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a person driving a lawn tractor down the street in the area of Dufferin Street and Nelson Street, in Palmerston.
Police arrived on scene and spoke to the operator of the lawn tractor.
As a result of the investigation, Nicholas YARKIE, 26-years-old of Palmerston, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on July 18, 2025.
