(BRANT, ON) - A Brantford woman is facing several charges following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 24 at Burford-Delhi Townline in the County of Brant.

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at approximately 3:42 pm, members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision. Emergency services attended the scene and both drivers were assessed by paramedics. No serious injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested and transported one of the drivers for further testing.

Linsay Way, 38 years old, of Brantford, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation
  • Change lane - not in safety
  • Fail to surrender driver’s licence
  • Fail to surrender insurance card
  • Fail to notify change of address
  • Fail to notify change of address

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.

A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were also issued.
