(NORTH GLENGARRY, ON) - The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver after responding to a collision. 

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, shortly before 1:30 pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on River Road in North Glengarry Township. No serious injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, Adam HOSZU, aged 36, of North Glengarry was arrested and charged with:

•Operation while impaired - alcohol

•Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

•Dangerous operation

•Failure to comply with release order - two counts.

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall at a later date.
