INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED AFTER DRUG SEIZURE IN MISSISSAUGA


(MISSISSAUGA, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged an individual following a drug-related investigation in Mississauga.

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, officers of the Mississauga OPP conducted a traffic stop on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) at Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga. As a result of the investigation, officers seized approximately four kilograms of suspected cocaine from the vehicle.

The driver, Rocco LAURENTI, a 27-year-old of Niagara Region has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Provincial Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday, July 25, 2025.
