INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THEFT

SIU Invokes Mandate

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) - The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has invoked its mandate following a theft investigation in Napanee.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, just after 6:15 pm, members of the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft at a retail location on Alkenbrack Street. The lone individual had already left the scene.

The individual was identified, and an arrest warrant was issued.

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, shortly after 10:30 am, officers located and arrested the wanted individual on Water Street.

While in custody, the individual required medical attention and was transported to hospital by officers.
