(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - Individual from Glencoe charged with theft after incident at a local business in Glencoe.

On August 14, 2025, at 9:33 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 275 Main Street in Glencoe, Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for the report of a theft in progress.

Officers arrived on scene at which time the individual fled from officers. After a brief foot pursuit, the individual was placed under arrest.

As a result, Declyn LAFRAMBOISE, a 26-year-old of Glencoe, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act with:

• Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING
• Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 - in Canada
• Enter premises when entry prohibited

The accused was held for bail.
