(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - An Erin resident has been charged in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On July 4, 2025, at approximately 7:00 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address within the Town of Erin.
As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old of Erin is charged under the Criminal Code with one count of spousal assault.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
