(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a 911 call for service.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at approximately 9:30 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to 911 call for service in Renfrew that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, assault and assault with a weapon.

The accused was release and is schedule to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke Court at a later date.
