(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a motor vehicle collision call for service.

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, at approximately 6:00 am, Renfrew OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision call for service in  the Town of Arnprior that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, assault, assault with a weapon and mischief over $5000.

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
