INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CHARGES LAID IN FOUR OCCURRENCES


(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people after responding to a multiple intimate partner violence occurrences.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 9:30 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to a breach of probation call for service in the Town of Arnprior that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident. 

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with fail to comply with probation order. 

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at approximately 7:10 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to a disturb the peace call for service in the Town of Renfrew that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with assault.

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at approximately 7:30 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to a threats call for service in the Town of Arnprior that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, at approximately 4:45 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Township of Greater Madawaska that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with assault.

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
