(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people after responding to multiple intimate partner violence occurrences.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 5:30 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Township of McNab/Braeside that occurred during an intimate partner violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:

  • Two counts of assault
  • Two counts of mischief
  • Two counts of sexual assault
  • Two counts of uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at approximately 1:30 am, Renfrew OPP responded to an intimate partner violence call for service in Whitewater Region Township.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:

  • Mischief
  • Four counts of fail to comply with probation

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 7:50 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to an intimate partner violence call for service in the Town of Arnprior.

As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:

  • Failure to comply with undertaking
  • Assault

The accused was released and is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
