(LONDON, ON) - Intimate partner violence investigation results in assault charge.

On November 22, 2025, at 1:43 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Highbury Avenue in the City of London, for the report of a disturbance within a vehicle.

The vehicle was located at the intersection of Carriage Road and Littlewood Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result, a 27-year-old of London has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Assault

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London to speak to the charges at a future date.
