(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with an intimate partner violence investigation.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at approximately 10:12 am, officers with the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside the home, during which one physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 40-year-old resident of Orangeville, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Assault - spousal

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
