INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGE


(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 11:35 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dispute at an address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside a residence on the property, during which one person uttered threats toward the other.

As a result, a 28-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
