(CENTRAL ELGIN, ON) - Domestic assault investigation in Central Elgin results in charge.

On June 13, 2025, at 1:17 pm, members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Central Elgin, for the report of an assault complaint.

As a result, a 32-year-old of Elgin County has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Assault with a Weapon - Spousal

The accused was held for bail.

The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
