(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges local resident stemming from an intimate partner violence investigation.
On August 2, 2025, at approximately 8:15 pm, members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address in Centre Wellington Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old of Mississauga is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
- Harassing Communications
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
