(CENTRAL ELGIN, ON)  - One person is charged with assault following an intimate partner dispute in Elgin County.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at approximately 10:31 pm, members of the Elgin OPP responded to a disturbance at an address in the Municipality of Central Elgin.

24-year-old individual from Elgin County has been charged under the Criminal Code with Assault - Spousal.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
