INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES
Four Charges Laid
(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Guelph resident criminally stemming from an intimate partner violence investigation.
On October 6, 2025, at approximately 1:45 pm, the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance within Guelph-Eramosa Township and started an investigation.
On October 7, 2025, at approximately 9:15 am, as a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old of Guelph, is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Criminal Harassment - repeatedly communicate
- Fail to comply with Probation Order (three counts)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
