(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) - Local resident faces two criminal charges in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On July 1, 2025, at approximately 8:30 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old of Guelph-Eramosa Township is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Assault - spousal (two counts)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
