(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.

Lanark County OPP officers began an investigation of intimate partner violence on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

As a result of investigation, a 27-year-old female from Almonte has been charged with:

• Assault - two counts
• Harassing communications
• Mischief

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Wednesday, September 29, 2025.

The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
